Step by Step’s Musical production 2 Sides to Every story is tomorrow – Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 4pm
This promises to be a real treat so be sure to check it out.
The Anancy Festival a celebration of Caribbean cultural heritage and designed with particular appeal to children and teenagers curious about the Caribbean also happens tomorrow!
Anancy (or Anansi) is the West African trickster hero of numerous folk tales that are popular across the Caribbean, indeed popular throughout the African Diaspora. This clever and conniving character is familiar to millions of people around the world and an appropriate icon for the festival’s blend of Caribbean culture on a platform geared for children and adolescents.
From 2pm – 6pm at the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Library, 2 Tom Redcam Drive, Kingston 3.
Love Anansi so would love to take children to it.
and of course if you just want to keep it easy there is Story time at Bookophilia from 11am – 12pm.
What ever you are doing this weekend. Do hope it is fun filled and of course KIDFRIENDLY!
