Playing with some Play dough

I admit it I Pinterest! The correct terminology is ‘pin’.

Pinterest is a fabulous resource for all manners of things, I especially love to ‘pin’ kiddie activities that I can use to entertain the kiddies. One such activity we tried out – homemade playdough.

I am sorry that I didn’t take pictures of the big daughter and I trying this super easy recipe, but know that it was good fun making the dough as it was for them to use.

Play dough by the way is a fabulous way to entertain most children. For some very long minutes. It is actually the only thing that I have found to keep the youngest members of the team quiet and in one spot for longer than 2 minutes. So needless to say I was really happy that I could make up batches and not worry if it goes missing or end up outside mixed up in a mat or in the dirt. Hey it does happen LOL

It is a great toy / tool to stimulate sensory and fine motor skills.

Of course we did ours in pink are you surprised?!

And definitely makes for happy children.
