Suggested supplies:
glue, glitter, ribbon, scraps of fabric, straws or small dowels or chopsticks, card stock, masking tape
To make:
Cut out star shape- we freehanded the star but you could also use a star shaped cookie cutter.
Glue was spread liberally on the star and then glitter was sprinkled all over.
We had large straws laying around which we wrapped in the scraps of fabric (chopsticks will work just as well)
Using masking tape attach the star to the straw ( my daughter is a great fan of making tape but you could probably glue the star to the straw).
Tie the twisty ribbon just below the star ( as much as you think is magical)
and Voila! you have a magic bad news banishing wand
