All the house guests are gone.
August said good bye for this year and September is upon us two days strong.
And with September comes school.
I believe I join the kiddies in the following sentiment… LOL
By the end of this week all of Jamaica should be back to school.
And joining them would be the entire Kid Friendly crew. The little ones start ‘big school’ on Wednesday and I am training myself not to wail at the school doors LOL.
As of last week we have been slowly getting back into a school routine. We cut down on tv watching, started up some educational games on the computer, included everyone in the book and uniform shopping and it has been early to bed for most everyone.
I read somewhere that a parent’s positive attitude to school contributes importantly on the child’s attitude to school. As you can tell by the little comic I chose for this post that a little work is needed by this parent. LOL.

I have been toying with the idea of a schedule for the kiddies. One that keeps them on top of their chores and allows them to tick it off as the day goes along. Yes they have chores… but shhh don’t tell them I haven’t labelled them as work. I have been loving this idea from early this year but gave into procrastination and never adapted it to our needs.
